The inside cover of this book has my maiden name written in it, in my own 7 or 8yo hand.
There are a bajillion versions of Frosty the Snowman out there. But for me, this is always the book and illustrator that comes to mind for me.
The version we have is from my childhood. I also have this version, from my mom’s childhood, hidden away until little hands are a bit more gentler (its binding is so worn that it’s falling off):
The final Santa Mouse book. Ours is an original copy. I think the book is out-of-print, though you can still find a copy online.
Book #2 in our Santa Mouse trilogy.
Tonight’s pick is the first in a trilogy. We read the books one after the other for three nights every year.
Santa Mouse first appeared in 1966, and he can be harder to find some years, but he’s still around!
Anybody remember him?
So excited for the kids to unwrap this one tonight! It’s one of our new books this year.
You can read my full thoughts (and get some free goodies!) here.
We received this as a gift when my daughter was 2, and it has been an asked-for read every year since.
Fitting for the day we set out to get our own tree.
