The inside of my head is just one big, jumbled, busy mess.
How’s that for an honest, up front, has nothing-to-do-with-books confession?
This last month (months? year?) has just been one big, jumbled, busy mess. It’s been a difficult year, personally, and I feel like I’m coming out of a bit of a fog, and that’s good, but MAN there’s alot to catch up on.
So today is just a bulleted post of what’s going on inside my head. Feel free to take a peek…or don’t and come back on Monday (please?!) when we return to our normal programming.
Last year’s (rainy) cherry blossoms.
- Spring is busy at our house. We have Easter, followed by my birthday, followed by my daughter’s birthday. Andshe’ll be FOUR this year. Which means she is totally her own spunky, independent, clingy, opinionated, questioning big little girl. So there’s Easter egg hunts, and birthday parties, and the cherry blossoms.
- I’ve decided to take some personal/professional risks. And that’s awesome. And, you know, terrifying.
- Since I “lost” most of the last month, I’m behind on the pile of reviews I have to write (okay, and some of the books for said reviews that I have to read), so I’m playing catch-up. Good news for you, you should see alot of new titles popping up here over the next couple weeks.
- Bloggiesta is this weekend, and I’ve always enjoyed participating in the past, but don’t know how much I’ll be able to join in this weekend. Maybe they’ll let me stalk? And accept this as my very disorganized starting line post? I do need to switch over from Google Reader (which is fine with me, because I’ve been unhappy with it for awhile now…). And I like making all those new connections. Oh, who am I kidding? I’ll probably be adding that to my list, too.
It’s ridiculous over here. But it’s a crazy, busy, happy, ridiculous.
Happy Friday, friends.
